Bend-Redmond Ranks 5th Most Dynamic Metropolitan

A new, 104-page report, Most Dynamic Metropolitans, was released in June that ranks all 379 metropolitans in the U.S. to provide objective insight into the communities providing economic oppportuntity for their residents using near, meadium data to gauge prospects for future prosperity.  While it employs metrics around GDP, job and wage growth, it uniquely tracks the proportion of total jobs at young firms.  This measure reveals the capability of entrepreneurs to start businesses and scale them which is critical for future job growth and wage gains. Bend-Redmond ranked #5 on account of thoughtful strategic planning that includes business retention, expansion and a focus on startups and scaleups.
