Redmond thrilled by Nosler expansion plans
Nosler Inc., the Bend-based bullet and ammunition maker, announced plans Tuesday to build a new, 30,000-square-foot manufacturing plant on 60 acres the company purchased in December in Redmond.
Nosler Investments LLC paid $869,000 for the property west of Redmond Airport. Plans call for moving machinery out of Nosler’s plant on SW Columbia Street in Bend to a new facility in Redmond, along with machinery from Silver State Armory, a Packwood, Washington, ammunition maker that Nosler purchased in 2013, said Zach Waterman, Nosler public relations manager. The Silver Star machinery will be refurbished in Bend before heading to Redmond, he said.
